Another Sneak Peek of a WIP
This is a piece I am working on, trying to finish for a deadline fastly approaching. With all the interuptions this week I am praying I will finish. Just another sneak peek at a different project that is 36" x 48"
Oh my gosh, all of those little stitches.....makes my head hurt thinking of all that work. I want to see the whole thing. Good luck finishing it on time.
Thanks everyone, I will turn it in on Friday and I think I can post it at that time. I think the actual piece may be too simple to be accepted into the show so I will have to wait and see. I like the fact that they judge for this show next week and then notify us right away. I think one of the hardest parts of showing art,in any form, is the waiting to hear.
I already love it from just a peak! Funny thing about deadlines and the creative mind: I can wander around for weeks searching for the most creative idea, then when time is almost up, ... bang! the idea explodes into being in my head. Funny how a deadline can focus the mind. The bad thing is, I then have to work round the clock to finish it. Stop by and see what I'm creating with very small scraps. kbartdesigns.com
Ack! This is not enough of a peek. Will we get to view all at some point in the future? I am intrigued.

ReplyDeleteBoth project look interesting. I like how you did the one below this...super color and texture.

ReplyDeleteThis piece is wonderful! The expression is well captured! I love it! And especially nice texture on the face.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy, I like the piece and although it was fairly simple in design I thought it was still very powerful.
