Another 6" pastel- Paris Street Scenes

I also have this posted on my other blog, Desiree's Designs, but wanted to also share here. I took so many great photos in Paris and want to paint them all, this is one and I did it in pastels and only 6"!
Tomorrow I meet with the people for the commission piece, keep your fingers crossed!

How on earth do you make such exquisite detailed little paintings in pastels! I find them the most awkward medium of all.

It looks like Monmartre, my favorite part of Paris! Great job on this!!!

I've lost track of who I contacted already. I had to do a new blog because my other one wasn't allowing me to post any more. Please come visit me at the new blog. http://watercolorsbyjoan2.blogspot.com Please save the new address.

I though I commented on this but I guess I didn't. I love it. It reminds me of my favorite spot in Paris, Montmontre! Great that you captured the people and the wonderful atmosphere.
